Welcome to Public Policies In India - Blog

India is roughly 3 million sq km vast along with 1.252 billion population which makes our population density - whooping 382 persons per sq km. India is definitely a vast country and when the question of public management comes, we require a very efficient, mass-friendly public policies. There are so many public policies in place since independence which either did not get implemented because of poor insights or did get implemented but with corruption thereby not reaping its benefits. The sorry state of affair at present needs to be revamped. There are only few success stories of public policies, a noted among them is Polio-eradication drive also known as Pulse Polio

One of the biggest failures to implement public policy is not able to communicate its features, benefits to the common people. With people unaware of its benefits, most would like to continue with what they were doing instead of trying out the new policy in place. By launching this blog, I would like to share insights, analysis, features, benefits, pros/cons and details of any public policy in India. It would help people know what is in store for them.
